WINDOW SHOPPING by Peter Robin
By Peter Robin
I visited Zurich in Switzerland before the holiday season. The city has a warm and festive atmosphere, despite the cold temperatures.
The shops there are both expensive and perfectly decorated. We looked at luxury items through their windows. I saw this reflection of my wife (and me) in some large mirrored glass baubles in the window of one shop. A mannequin and the shop contents are also evident on the golden surface of the bauble.
For me the image captured what we felt in Zurich.
