February Photo Challenge: Monochrome Landscapes

River Creatures

Erosion along the Mississippi River around St. Paul, MN, has produced some fascinating "root sculptures." This was taken in August, 2012, when the water levels had dropped because of the summer drought. It was processed in PS Elements 9 and converted to b&w with some work on shadows and highlights in Nik Silver Efex Pro
