The Bone Dry Badlands
By Nick Benson
Inspired by Edward Weston, I spent a week exploring and photographing in Death Valley National Park. After photographing Zabriskie Point at sunrise, I wandered over to the badlands which are unearthly formations of mudstone, sculpted by water. I was absolutely amazed by the sizes shapes that I was surrounded by, as it felt like a completely different planet.
