This Surveyor's Tripod in a Field at Drewry's Bluff in North Chesterfield, Virginia was certainly an unexpected sight - completely out of place (and unattended by the surveyors) it seemed very alien and resembled some sort of landing craft. Out jogging, I used my shock proof Nikon pocket camera to obtain the shot.
