This photo was taken on a visit to the Quinault Rain Forest in Washington. We were in the middle of a 2.5 mile hike and stumbled out into the clearing to find this beautiful sight. The clouds were an outstanding feature but the most striking visual aspect was the way the light came through the clouds to fall on the river an the mountains. Please enjoy.
