March Photo Challenge: Macro Photography

March Photo Challenge: Macro Photography

Above image submitted by Annalise Kerr

Macro photography has all sorts of challenges associated with it. The depth of field is miniscule, the precision required is extreme, and the sometimes the subjects are gnarly bugs. But, when it's done well, macro photography can shed light on a scene or an object that our eyes would never see. So, we want to see what you can do with a close-focusing lens. Be creative and you could win $100 and get published in an upcoming issue of Popular Photography magazine.
