October Photo Challenge: Low-Light Photography

Autumn morning story

By Claudiu Bogdan Guraliuc

It's winter and that means shorter days and less light. But that doesn't have to mean less photography. We challenged our readers to take their cameras into the dark and come out with great photographs. As usual, you totally succeeded. Here's a gallery of some of our favorite entries from last month's contest. If you want some tips for shooting in low-light check here. Then, head over to our contest page and show off some of your own work for a chance to win prizes and get featured. The final winner will be announced in a future issue of Popular Photography.
