Elk Lake before sunrise

Myrna and I have escaped for a week at Elk Lake Lodge for ~20 years in late September. It is privately owned but held pristine. The silence can be stunning, interrupted only by wind through the trees, loons and other critters, plus us humans at the lodge. I arise early to enjoy the sunrise In this favorite, I saw largely darkness and shadows, but the camera, integrating over time, saw this at deep twilight.
