It rarely lasts a half-hour, at best, so be ready to shoot as soon as the sun sets. Cityscapes, blurred amusement rides, and street fair scenes all benefit from the waning light that fills shadows just enough to keep them from dropping out to black. Show that over-confident magic hour that there are other times of day to make great photos, too.
