Shark Fin Soup: the Beginning

A squalid fishing outpost in no way reflected the lucrative chain leading ultimately to a highly desirable delicacy in lands far, far away. These are shark fins drying in the sun. Their projection as shadows in the sand provided an image of beauty in stark contrast of the sadness that befell the sharks--bitter sweet indeed.
