The Chapel
By Sapna Reddy
This small New England style church was built in 1879 and has served as a place of worship for over 100 years. It is the only religious building within the confines of a National park. It has survived two floods, one in 1964 and the other in 1997.
This image taken in the middle of a winter storm. The warm glow of the church admidst the harsh elements appears to represent the solace derived from prayer in the midst of hardship.
