My husband and I had taken our brand new D800 and 85mm 1.4G lens for a test drive on a beatiful spring day in Seattle Arboratum. When our daughter started playing around this backlit cherry bloom, the whole scene felt dreamy. Because of the backlight, I used the on camera flash with -1 compensation to light up her face! I must say the on-camera flash worked like a charm!
