Cut Rock
By Sam Inloes
My first Popular Photography magazine caught my attention with its inclusion of Acadia National Park, and cajoled me into taking my camera. Listening to my friends advice on the best locations, I ventured over the various popular tide pool areas, all of which in the middle of the day gave me unwanted water reflections. Yet, reaching into some of the seldom used pockets of my father's camera bag, I found a polarizing filter which turned the glossy pool into a colorful masterpiece.
