Waking up pre-dawn to catch a sunrise shot at Whale Cove along the east shore of Lake Tahoe, I caught a full moon setting instead. The sun was just starting to rise behind me creating a hint of anti-crepuscular rays. In order to get the foreground boulders and the sky, I merged two horizontal shots to make this image.
