Auroras of the Arctic Circle
By Jeremy La Zelle
This photograph was taken in a very remote and isolated stretch of the Alaskan Tundra. While preparing a tent for the night I witnessed a firework display directly above me unlike any other. The log cabin was chosen because it is an excellent reference for the immense dreamlike brilliance of the Aurora Borealis. Lastly, the reindeer antlers contrast an otherwise divine world with the harsh realities of living in such a deathly unforgiving landscape that is the Alaskan Arctic.
