This photo is part of a series take at the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland, California. I was able to watch the entire construction of this building, from ground breaking to installing massive wooden vertical beams, to the opening. The interior is truly stunning, and I quickly visited as soon as it was open to the public with my camera's and tripod. I did this to avoid crowds, and insure I would get the photos I wanted before any rules or restrictions might be applied.
