I wanted to demonstrate the dance that occurs with rider, horse and barrel in barrel racing. I felt that action/blur was the best technique to accomplish this.I positioned myself closest to the last barrel because I feel that this is where most determination to get across the finish line is and this is where the dance would be. I set my release mode to continuous and panned as I fired away hoping to capture the dance.... and I did! I was able to use a low ISO because of my long exposure.
