As lava pours into the ocean on Hawaii's coastline near Kalapana at dawn, This tour boat arrived giving some lucky visitors a unique perspective. While I normally try to avoid including other people in my nature shots, in this case the boat added some much-needed balance to the composition. It is mesmerizing watching the newest land on earth being formed.
