MILK photo books have gotten together with famed notebook makers Moleskine to create the Moleskine+MILK collaboration. This new series of photo books and photo albums will retain the design touches of Moleskine notebooks, but will be printed using MILK’s expertise in the photography book business.

All of the books will feature Moleskine’s distinctive rounded corners, elastic loops, expandable pockets, and textured covers. All will be printed on ivory-colored acid-free FSC certified paper with lie-flat stitched binding. MILK’s design system also allows for you to collaborate with friends and relatives to put together the book as a group.

The basic Photo Books will set you back $50 for a 20 page hardcover in either square or landscape formats, or $80 for a large format square book — and it can be expanded up to 120 pages for an extra $1 per page. The next step up is the Photo Books plus, which is fixed at 60 pages, and includes a personalized cover, ribbon marker, a slipcase, template support, and digital versions. You can pick one up in portrait or landscape orientation for $100. Finally, the Photo Albums start at 60 pages, but can be stretched up to 200 pages for $130 on up. Those come in a linen presentation box, have a choice of a black or white cover, have multiple text and color options, and also come with a digital version.

Early birds can grab a major discount on these Moleskine photo books — if you purchase before November 30 you’ll get a free Moleskine notebook worth $17.95, and pre-purchasing the books will save you 25% off the normal price. They’re not cheap, but that’s kind of the point.
