Most photographers feel that
they have two choices at night:
Using a harsh electronic flash or
lugging a tripod along. But that
doesn’t mean you can’t get great
pictures after dark.
The trick? Finding tripod substitutes.
Tree limbs, park benches,
tables, railings, rocks, and light
posts can all make decent supports
for satisfyingly sharp photography
after the sun has set.
