Fujifilm actually announced a few point-and-shoot cameras today, but the most interesting by far is the newest addition to their top-level F-series of point-and-shoots. The $400 compact is the first to come with their new sensor, which has a new array of color filters and the ability to make each half of its 12 million pixels do separate duties. The result is a point-and-shoot with a maximum ISO of 12,800 and an impressive dynamic range. They showed the technology at Photokina last year, but we will be interested to see how much progress they have really made on the small sensor front.
