Forget Spiderman and Shrek the Third, New York's photo community is having it's own blockbuster openings this weekend, with the ICP unveiling four new installations and shows going up by heavy hitters such as William Klein, Christopher Makos, Mariana Yampolsky, and Gillian Laub. But one intriguing project is also on view out of the spotlight, at an unlikely venue: Atlanta's Center for the Visually Impaired. Photographer Billy Howard has partnered with the center to produce portraits of patients with a range of visual impairments, accompanied by artist renderings of what the world looks like through their eyes.
