CITY Magazine has announced its new One City, Many Destinations contest--the grand prize winner gets their photo on the cover of its upcoming Fall '07 Travel Issue.
The idea is to submit an image that "best captures the essence of a city." Photographers may submit as many digital images as they like, as long as each one is from a different city--and any photographer from anywhere can submit.
Deadline for entries is June 30, 2007.
The Grand Prize package is valued at $10,000 and includes a camera and an all-inclusive vacation package. Sixteen finalists will also win cameras and other prizes, and their photographs will be featured in a special travel portfolio in the issue.
If you're unfamiliar with CITY, this will also be an excellent chance to acquaint yourself with the well-designed lifestyle mag for the international, city-hopping jet set. A look at their featured spreads (with a nice online interface) demonstrates the careful eye, as well as the wit and adventurous spirit, that has won the mag a spate of industry awards for design.
