Still in Awe, After All These Years
By far one of the most wondrous and enjoyable things about the ICP's Martin Munkacsi show Think While You Shoot! is how clearly it represents the locus of not only contemporary fashion photography, but of sport and news photography as well.

User Review: Pentax K100D
Most of the user reviews we get are quick and to the point. Phil Leese took it a step further in reviewing the Pentax K100D DSLR, the most exhaustive and comprehensive user review yet. Phil writes:
"All the controls you'd expect can be set in the menus but one feature I really like is the auto ISO range. You can set this at any single ISO (200-3200) or set a range for the camera to select from. Image noise is very low on this camera even up to ISO 800 so I tend to use a range of 200 to 800. This in combination with the shake reduction sensor allows you to take photos in low light without flash. I have been surprised at how good these pictures are."

(An exclusive for our newsletter subscribers)
It's easy to make panoramic images by stitching a series of carefully planned shots together end-to-end. Software that does it automatically probably came with your camera or printer. But there's a lot you can do to get the best results:
• Use a tripod if possible, and slowly move the camera through a smooth arc between shots.
• Make sure that each succeeding image overlaps the previous shot by at least 20%.
• Avoid moving subjects (that includes clouds) and changing lighting conditions (it's the clouds' fault again).
• Avoid trees and other obstructions that are close to the camera.
