PopPhoto.com's Tip of the Week
(An exclusive for our newsletter subscribers)

Sharing a large number of images with colleagues by e-mail? First, resize them to 640x480 pixels or smaller. Second, send them in small groups -- three or four per e-mail message -- instead of ganging them all together as one colossal attachment. And be sure to put a warning in the subject line (e.g., "Big Image Files Attached") so that someone who's stuck on a dial-up connection at a hotel somewhere knows it's best to wait to open that message back at the office.

Write Your Own Camera or Lens Review!

A reader from Winchester, MA reviews the Sigma - 70-200MM f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM AF Review

I have used the the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 ex dg af with my pentax IST-ds for a little over two years. I take lots of hockey photos and other sports. The quality of the images are fantastic. I looked at several other lenses in roughly the same price range before buying the Sigma lens. The quality and feel of the Sigma lens was much greater. The lens feels like a professional lens costing much more. I would highly recommend this lens to anyone. Read the complete review here.

Speaking Frankly

Why I'm so het up about the handy little hot-shoe, the camera feature that's almost as old as the camera itself.
