Photographer Rosanne Pennella has been honored by Nikon as a "Legend Behind the Lens". Clients include Nikon, Lowepro, The Travel Channel and many international tourism offices, travel companies and book publishers including Geographic Expeditions, Geographic Expeditions, Fodor’s, Quark Expeditions, Random House, Scholastic Publications and Wilderness Travels. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Travel Holiday, PDN, Popular Photography, Asian Photography, Shutterbug and Discovery.

Rosanne teaches travel photography at the International Center of Photography and The New School in New York City, frequently lectures for Nikon and also leads travel photography workshops with the American Photo/Popular Photography Mentor Series and Strabo Tours. She has presented her work at international photographic and travel conventions including PhotoPlus Expo and PMA.

Rosanne left a career in law to pursue her passion of travel photography. She has worked on assignment in places as varied as Costa Rica, China, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Antarctica, Egypt and Kenya. Rosanne has on appeared on television numerous times, including CNN, discussing her career and images. She created the promotional photos for "Peru: The Royal Tour" for the Travel Channel, accompanying the president of Peru.
