Sony's 50mm f/1.4 lens features a large constant aperture, great for shooting with available light. The lens provides a focal length of 75mm (35mm equivalent) when used with Sony's Alpha DSLR-A700 and Alpha DSLR-A100 digital SLR bodies. Combined with Sony's in-camera image stabilization system, the lens's large aperture allows the photographer to capture sharp images even in low light.
