The Lensbaby 2.0 lens is an update to the Original Lensbaby lens, and presents its user with a curved field "sweet spot," resulting in unique, artistic images. The lens features a coated optical doublet element, a focal length of "about" 50mm, and f/2, f/2.8, f/4, f/5.6, and f/8 interchangeable, magnetically levitating aperture disks. The 3.7oz lens has a diameter of 2.5in. and a length of 2.25in., making it very compact. The lens has a minimum focus distance of about 12-inches.
The lens is available with Canon EF (EOS), Nikon F, Sony Alpha A / Minolta Maxxum, Pentax K / Samsung GX, Olympus E1 / Panasonic Lumix DMC, Leica R, Olympus OM, Canon FD, Minolta Manual, Contax/Yashica, and Screw mounts. Automatic metering is possible in aperture priority mode for most SLR cameras except certain Nikon bodies including the D40, D50, D70, D70S, D80, D100, N50, N65, N70, N75, N80, Kodak 14N and ProN, and Fuji S1, S2, and S3.
