The Everyday Messenger Bag by Peak Design has turned to Kickstarter to raise funds to make their versatile camera bag a reality. The bag leaves out the stiff, bulky structure that can get in the way of your activities, and replaces it with a softer and more flexible design.

The semi-rigid shell expands from a capacity of 13.5L to 20.5L without the need for slack material and unique FlexFold dividers allow the bag to expand or contract based on the size and shape of your camera and gear.

The strap is made of seatbelt material for function and comfort, and a second stabilizing strap can be attached for extra support if you need to hop on your bike and get to a shoot in a hurry. A magnetic latch allows for a quick one-handed grab to your gear.

Since Peak Design started as a company that made Capture, a clip that lets you carry your camera on the outside of your bag, it is included on the outside of the bag for easy access to your gear.

The bag is available in charcoal or tan, and is available now through Kickstarter for $195, which is $55 less than the expected retail price.
