When Sigma announced their new 18-35mm F/1.8 zoom lens, the question immediately began popping up in comment sections everywhere: How much? Now we know. When the lens launches in July, it'll cost just $799, which is pretty impressive. It will also be available for Sony and Pentax mounts down the road.

When Samsung first announced their Android-powered Galaxy camera, people immediately began to wonder how long it would be before they released a truly hybrid device that would make voice calls just as readily as it would take a photo. Now, their UK press site has unleashed just that in the form of the Galaxy S4 zoom.
Fujifilm and Panasonic have teamed up to work on a new sort of CMOS sensor that could make things mighty interesting. The two companies have officially announced they are working on a "organic CMOS image sensor technology using organic photoelectric conversion layer", which could dramatically improve dynamic range, boost sensitivity, and reduce image noise.

We were quite excited when we first caught wind of Sigma's made new 18-35mm f/1.8 lens for APS-C sensor DSLR's. It's new territory in a land of zooms that typically max out at F/2.8.And iIt really could be a game changer in the fight between full-frame and crop-sensor cameras.
Tokina's new wide-angle zoom has an official price

Back in January, Tokina announced a new wide-angle zoom lens, replacing the 12-24mm version previously available. Now, the Tokina AT-X 12-28mm f/4 lens has been given an official price for Canon and Nikon APS-C mounts, and will set you back $599 when it becomes available for purchase.
