Fujifilm expands its X-series ILCs further with the X-E1, which has the same sensor as the top-of-the-line X-Pro1 (and provides similar imaging performance), and the same robust build, but knocks $500 off the price. How? By using solely an EVF rather than the X-Pro1’s switchable optical/electronic finder. Not much of a sacrifice, given the X-E1’s crisp, bright, fine-grained 2.36-million-dot EVF.
