Your best Shots Gallery: June 2012
French Bulldogs

Every month, we challenge our talented readers to show us their best work for a chance to be published in Popular Photography. We're consistently impressed with the results and there are always many amazing images we don't have room for in print. The official winners will be announced in a future issue of the magazine, but here's a group of our favorites from June to help get you inspired. Each image is presented with the info exactly as it was submitted by the photographer.

By Brittany Veinot

I was shooting some frenchies who had been trained to line up on surfaces - tables, rocks, docks, logs, flipped canoes, you name it! But the dogs would stay for a split second before getting distracted and moving on. I crouched down low, focused, and put my finger on the shutter before the dogs were lined up. I squeaked a toy in my other hand and for a split second they all looked - curious and alert. Immediately after this shot was taken, 5 dogs came leaping down above my bead!
