Your Best Shot Gallery: February 2012
Playa del Luna

Photo was taken during a Full Moon on the Playa in Death Valley. This is the area known as the "Racetrack" where the rocks have left grooves as they've moved across the dried lake bed.

 

Photo was take at 23:30 during a full moon on the playa. Nikon D5000 with 18-200mm f/3.5. ISO 800 at f/3.5 for ~6 seconds. Model manually triggered a Nikon SB-600 at 1/4 power. Small LED flash light is propped up against the beach ball.
