Self-portraits can be difficult. Not only do you have to consider the logistics of actually getting in front of your own camera, but then there's that whole thing about photographers often hating pictures of themselves. But, when we challenged our readers to be their own subjects, they came through. Some of the results are as you'd expect, but others are extremely fresh. Being a fashion photographer it's sometimes frustrating when you compare yourself to the model you're shooting, however even though I'm not perfect I still have features I'm proud of. I tried to focus on that in the image, my hair being a very important part of what makes me feel beautiful, especially since I love vibrant colors and often use them in my photography. The title is a play on the term 'food porn', which is used to describe images of food with spectacular presentation.
