Ian Plant backpacked for three days to reach a 2,000-foot cliff above Lago Viedma, then handheld his Canon EOS 5D Mark II with 24–105mm f/4L Canon EF lens in gale-force winds to make the exposure of 1/125 sec at f/11. Easier way to see the glacier: a boat tour.
