Low-Light Sample Images: Nikon 70-200mm F/4 ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens
d01.20lightofday261.jpg

Having spent a significant amount of time shooting live music with the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR II, we decided to field test Nikon's smaller, lighter (and not to mention, cheaper) telephoto, the 70-200 f/4 at the Light of Day charity concert in Asbury Park, NJ.

The images that follow were all shot using a Nikon D4. Due to the low-light environment, they are all shot at f/4. Slight exposure and white balance adjustments were made where noted in Adobe Lightroom 4. All of the images were also converted to sRGB in Adobe Lightroom 4. Click on the full-res link to see the original image, and stay tuned for our full lab test coming soon.

Tech Specs: ISO 12800, 1/200 sec, f/4.
Focal Length: 122mm.
Processing: Slight exposure adjustment and color temperature adjustments made.
