A new travel-sized tripod has just been announced from Manfrotto, and this portable support system collapses down to just 15.75-inches to comfortably stow away for easy transport. The Manfrotto Befree is available to purchase for $223, which isn't exactly a small price.

Vanguard has unveiled even more additions to their already enormous line of products, unveiling more legs, heads, kits, and bags. The big announcement is the ABEO Pro 283 tripod, which will be available in both aluminum and carbon fiber, with prices ranging from $399.99 - $549.99 in a kit.

 The name is a bit silly, but Benro's new travel tripod can actually quickly transform into a monopod without the need for tools. That's pretty handy.When totally collapsed, the MeFOTO is just 15-inches long, which is what lands it in travel tripod territory. At maximum height it will hold a camera 64" off the ground. It weighs 3.6-pounds and can hold up to 17.6 pounds, which is plenty for a full-on DSLR rig. 

By now, the name Gorillapod surely conjures up images of small tripods with ultra-flexible, knobby legs holding cameras in ungodly positions all over the place. But, the newest release from Joby looks a lot different than what you've come to expect. The ultra-compact Micro is meant to stay attached to the bottom of your compact camera at all times.
