Decreased sales and complex manufacturing processes claim another crop of film stocks
Amid all the bad news surrounding Kodak, including the planned sale of its digital patents and online photo services, it seemed like the company’s film business would endure. But Kodak announced recently that they are discontinuing three EKTACHROME (color reversal) films: EKTACHROME E100G, EKTACHROME E100VS, and ELITE Chrome Extra Color 100.They estimate that you’ll still be able to find them on shelves for the next six months or so (but that’s based on current sales trends).
