The Mississippi delta is a special region full of arts, culture, and heritage, and I take full advantage of every opportunity to visit the region. Silos and grain bins like this one can be found scattered across the flat simple delta landscape. This photograph shows how time has taken its toll on the region. I love photographing the weathered, seemingly timeless structures commonly seen throughout the region. This shot was taken from the side of a rural highway on a dreary spring day.
