Sony's two new S-series cameras (DSC-S700 and DSC-S650) use Sony glass and provide a slightly wider 35mm-105mm angle of view with their f/2.8-4.8 lenses than their W-series siblings. The S700 uses AA batteries to power its 112,000-pixel, 2.4-inch screen. For reasons unknown, the S700 has taken slightly longer to reach stores, but it should be available in March for around $180.
