The 4X-zooming Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 serves up true wide-angle capability (28mm equivalent) with its 10 megapixels. Mega OIS keeps the image sharp, providing as much as four stops of shutter speed latitude in handheld shooting. The camera can capture both stills and movies in wide-screen 16:9 HDTV format, if you like. And it wouldn't be a Lumix without the funky flip-animation mode for piecing stills together into a movie.
