The Nikon Coolpix S52 is identical to the S52c, with the exception of its finish colors and the latter camera's 802.11b/g wireless network connectivity. The camera features a stylish design, 9-megapixel resolution, an f/3.3-4.2, 38mm-114mm (35mm equivalent) 3x zoom lens, and optical image stabilization. Its 230,000-dot, 3-inch LCDs has an antireflective coating.
The S52 offers numerous automatic shooting modes, in-camera redeye removal, face-detection technology, and Nikon's D-Lighting feature, which automatically opens up dark shadow areas in playback mode. It has a top light-sensitivity setting of ISO 3200. The camera also includes Nikon's Pictmotion feature, which lets users create slide shows with music, timelapse movies, and stop-motion clips. The S52 will be available in May with Crimson Red and Midnight Black finishes and a MSRP of $249.95
