The 8.1-megapixel Kodak EasyShare Z885 features an f/2.8-5.1, 36-180mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens and a 115,000-pixel, 2.5-inch LCD. With an ISO range from 80-8000, the camera can shoot in a variety of lighting situations, though image quality rapidly deteriorates after ISO 400. The camera’s ergonomics leave much to be desired, with tiny, crowded buttons on the back of the camera, but the Z885’s housing offers a solid feel. The digicam features 19 scene modes, including sports, snow, beach, and a panorama mode that assists the photographer with creating a single image from multiple frames. The camera can stitch three images together without the need for a computer. Though the camera lacks a focusassist lamp, it focuses quickly even in dim conditions with little detail. Like other Kodak EasyShare cameras, the Z885 offers EasyShare Printer Dock compatibility. The Kodak EasyShare Z885 is available with a MSRP $199.95.
