This compact camera offers a broad zoom range, optical image stabilization, and strong video features. It can zoom and take photos while capturing video, and video recording options include 60fps and widescreen modes. The S3 IS features an LCD that flips out and swivels, a deep grip, and compatibility with lens converters. It uses Canon's DIGIC II processor to minimize shutter lag and shot-to-shot delays, and has a continuous-shooting speed rated by Canon at 2.3 fps.
