This 35mm SLR for professionals and advanced amateurs offers eye-controlled autofocus, 45-point autofocus (including 7 cross-type points) and a linkable 2.4% spot meter, multispot metering with up to 8 points, 9 focusing screen options, and 18 custom functions. It can achieve a continuous-shooting speed of 7fps with Canon's optional Power Drive Booster PB-E2 and NP-E2 battery pack. The EOS 3 is compatible with Canon's E-TTL and A-TTL external flash systems, but has no built-in flash.
