A pair of Canon's brand new Digic 5 processors are coupled with a brand new, full-frame 18.1-megapixel sensor at the heart of a camera that has been given a total overhaul. A bigger sensor means bigger pixels, 6.95 microns to be exact, which ratchets up the low-light performance substantially.
It has two CF card slots, a new 100,000-pixel RGB metering sensor and a 61-point AF system. Plus, the shutter blades are made out of carbon fiber, which is just plain cool.
