Sigma f/2.8 EX DG APO HSM

Canon 1DM2N with Sigma 300mm f/2.8 EX DG APO HSM -- 1/800 @ f/2.8 ISO 200. -- A mallard duck just about fills the frame at close focusing distance of around nine feet. Notice how the head is tack-sharp, but the maximum aperture softens the body to the tail.
