Extreme Field Test: Leica M8 in Iraq
The Americans raided three houses they thought were being used by Al Qaida before hitting pay dirt and discovering a home made explosives factory. I know it's silly, but previously in Iraq, when I used my Nikons on raids like this that could sometimes turn extremely violent, I'd try to hide my face behind the camera to protect it should I be blown up. The Leicas are a lot smaller and I didn't feel like I could hide as well.
