The close-focusing capability of the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 lens is remarkable for a "non-macro" lens. Combined with the A350's sensor-based I.S., and photos such as this are possible without a tripod. 1/320 sec at f/3.2, ISO 200, Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 lens lens at 70mm. +0.3 exposure compensation.
