3. Mega Merging

Fans of high dynamic range imaging love the fact that they can get beautiful images with Photoshop's Merge to HDR command, but loathe the fact that they have to tote around a tripod when they shoot. Now, with automatic layer alignment and blending, Photoshop CS3 can match up handheld shots (with some tolerance limits) as it merges. The same tool is available apart from HDR, as well--and it's perfect for mashing up group portraits when you've got everyone smiling, just not in the same photo.
